Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and [[OPERATOR NAME]], [[ADDRESS]] ("we", "us"), who run Musiband. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use Musiband.
1. What Musiband is
Musiband helps musicians find each other and form bands. You can publish a musician profile, create and manage bands, invite musicians, ask to join bands, and message people about an invitation.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. You need one account, created with a real email address you can read. You are responsible for what happens under your account; keep your password to yourself.
3. Your content
You keep the rights to what you publish: your profile, band pages, pictures, invitation notes and messages. You allow us to store, show and process it as needed to run Musiband, and to show your public profile and band pages to other people, including people who are not signed in. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for messages other people received (see the Privacy Policy).
Only publish what you have the right to publish.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- harass, threaten or insult people, or post hateful content;
- send spam, mass invitations or unsolicited advertising;
- pretend to be someone else or create fake profiles or bands;
- post illegal content or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- collect other users' data, scrape the site, or try to break, overload or get around the security of Musiband.
5. Reports and moderation
Anyone can report a profile, band or message. Our moderators review reports. We may remove content, hide bands, and suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms. A suspended account is hidden from other people until the suspension ends. If we ban an account, we keep a fingerprint of its email address so it cannot be used to sign up again.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Your data. Deletion happens 14 days after you confirm it; until then you can cancel. What we delete and what we keep is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
Musiband is provided free of charge and "as is". We try to keep it running, but we may change, pause or stop features or the whole service. We may update these terms; when we do, we will ask you to review and accept the new version, and you can delete your account if you do not agree.
8. Liability
We are not responsible for what users publish or for agreements musicians and bands make with each other. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by [[GOVERNING LAW]]. Questions: [[CONTACT EMAIL]].
